This policy explains what skyesim.ee stores in your browser. We use what the website needs to work and, only if you allow it, Google Analytics cookies to see how the website is used and Meta cookies to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads.
What we use
Sign-in cookies (set by our sign-in provider Supabase) keep you signed in, only when you sign in to your account. Your cart is kept in your browser for the current visit (session storage), the currency you choose to see prices in is remembered in local storage, and your cookie choice in local storage and in a cookie (skyesim_consent, 12 months) shared by skyesim.ee and its subdomains, such as puhkus.skyesim.ee, so you’re only asked once. If you arrive through a friend’s link, their code is kept in local storage, and the campaign you came from (UTM parameters) in session storage for the visit; both are only used with an order you place. The payment page of Stripe, our payment provider, uses its own cookies to process the payment securely and prevent fraud, and Google's sign-in button on our sign-in page may use Google's cookies.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you allow it, Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) sets two cookies: _ga, which tells visits from the same browser apart, and _ga_03Z7Q0B610, which keeps the current visit together. Both expire after 2 years. They show us which pages are visited, where visitors come from, which devices they use and, when you buy, the order number, amount and plans bought, so we can improve the website. Names, email addresses, payment details and order links are never sent. Google Analytics doesn't store your IP address, and advertising features are off. Until you allow it, nothing is loaded from Google Analytics.
Marketing (only with your consent)
If you allow marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) sets the cookie _fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad; both expire after 90 days. Meta learns which pages and plans you looked at and, when you buy, the order number, amount and plans (the purchase is sent from our server, Meta's Conversions API). We use this to measure our ads and to show them to people likely to travel. Names, email addresses, payment details and order links are never sent, and the Pixel doesn't run on the order confirmation and order pages.
Do you need to consent?
Only to analytics and marketing. The cookies in section 2 are strictly necessary for the website and the service you ask for, so the law doesn't require consent for them. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only after you choose "Accept" (or turn them on under "Manage preferences") in the cookie notice.
Managing them
You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page or the button at the top of this page: turning analytics off removes its cookies. You can also delete cookies and stored data in your browser settings; without them you can't stay signed in and your cart is emptied.
Images from other services
Some images and country flags are loaded from Unsplash and flagcdn. Your browser connects to them to load the images, so they see your IP address. They don't set cookies through our website.
Changes
If we change what we store, we update this page and its date.
